About this Event

Here I Am: The Art of Being Seen is a one-hour women’s embodiment and voice workshop exploring our relationship to visibility—being seen, heard, and expressed in a supportive, intentional space.Using practices rooted in voice and movement therapy, we’ll engage in gentle group and partner activities that invite authentic expression, embodied presence, and connection. This workshop offers a space to explore what it means to take up space, use your voice, and be witnessed without judgment.

Beginner-friendly

Somatically grounded

Expressive, reflective, and relational

No singing or movement experience is required.

What to Bring:

A journal, water bottle, friend (optional but encouraged!)

Come as you are. This is a space to be witnessed, supported, and seen.

About the Facilitator:
Breena Shusterman is a Chicago-based yoga teacher, voice and movement therapist-in-training, singer, and embodiment facilitator. She is completing certification as a voice and movement therapy practitioner after nine months of immersive training in South Africa. Breena’s work weaves together somatic practices, voice exploration, movement, parts work, and authentic relating to support deep emotional exploration and embodied self-expression.

She has facilitated inner child play workshops, group therapy spaces, and one-on-one sessions, and is the creator of Moon Yoga, an embodiment journey through voice. Breena is also a playwright and creative guide who loves diving into the emotional world and creating spaces where people feel safe to be seen, heard, and expressed. She believes the voice is a gateway to the divine and is devoted to helping others access their inner divinity through voice and embodied presence.Learn more at bravelyexpress.com
