Designers Parsons & Charlesworth present a fictional tour of future eco-tourist sites imagined in response to climate predictions.
About this Event

Take a tour of future eco-tourist sites of Chicago imagined in response to climate predictions.

Using their installation of a kiosk selling souvenirs from future Chicago nature reserves and eco-tourist sites imagined in response to predicted climate change, designers Parsons & Charlesworth invite their audience on a tour of sites such as the Marina City Urban Forest, Millennium Marsh Aquatic Reserve, The Storm-Surge Observatory at Promontory Point and The Invasivores Cafe at Navy Pier. Casting their audience as participants on this fictional tour, Parsons & Charlesworth reveal information about each site and the climate impacts that led to its creation.
