About this Event
Join herbalist, Clare Pierson, for an exploration of the medicinal properties of herbs as harvest season begins.
Now is the time to gather and prepare the herbs we will be using throughout the winter months. We’ll embark on a W**d walk to observe herbs in their natural environment before returning to the gallery to learn a few basic medicine-making techniques.
Wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing; we will proceed with the walk even in light rain. Bring a notebook to take notes.
Meet in the art gallery at the Visitor’s Center. No pets please.
Cost $4
Parking: $6 per vehicle.
Max: 18 people.
PLEASE NOTE: the herbs used in this program are food-grade and responsibly sourced outside of the Preserve; collection is not allowed here.
