Herbalism 101
An Easier Way to Healthy Living
A 2-Hour Introduction to Herbs, Natural Remedies & Holistic Living
Living a healthier, more natural lifestyle doesn’t have to mean replacing everything in your home, owning a cabinet full of herbs, or changing your entire life overnight.
Herbalism 101: An Easier Way to Healthy Living is a relaxed, beginner-friendly 2-hour workshop designed to help you understand how herbs and simple holistic practices can become part of everyday life—for yourself and for your family.
Together, we’ll explore the foundations of herbal medicine and simple, realistic ways to begin creating a healthier home and supporting everyday wellness.
What We’ll Explore
Herbalism 101
Learn the basics of herbal medicine, common ways herbs are prepared and used, and which versatile herbs are helpful to have in your home.
Creating Herbal Tea Blends
We’ll talk about how herbs can be combined to create intentional tea blends, how much to use, steeping basics, and simple recipes you can recreate at home.
Making Herbal Salves
Learn the basics of creating an herbal salve—from infused herbal oils and beeswax to choosing herbs, storing your finished product, and creating simple salves at home.
Creating a Lower-Toxin Home
We’ll take a look at some of the products and ingredients we encounter every day and discuss simple, realistic alternatives for your kitchen, bathroom, cleaning products, personal care, and more.
This isn't about creating a perfectly “toxin-free” home. It's about learning where small, manageable changes can make sense for you and your family.
The Mind-Body Connection
We’ll also introduce the connection between chronic stress, emotional experiences, trauma, the nervous system, and the way we experience tension and physical symptoms in the body.
Holistic wellness is about looking at the whole person—not simply one symptom at a time.
You’ll Go Home With
Every participant will receive a printed Herbalism 101 Guide filled with information from the workshop, beginner herbal references, tea recipes, salve instructions, lower-toxin swaps, and practical ideas you can begin using at home.
Herbal tea will also be provided throughout the workshop for you to sip while we learn and connect.
