Herbal Teas & Tinctures Learn about blending herbs!
About this Event

Led by farmer and herbalist Claudia Torrieri, this hands-on workshop at Our Community Garden will focus on two different ways to blend herbal allies like chamomile and lemon balm for everyday use.

Participants will explore tea and tincture recipes that can be prepared at home and modified for different purposes. Join us to engage your senses and take home your very own herbal blend!

About the Farm

Our Community Garden (OCG) has been a greening hub in Sandtown for over 25 years. The garden provides a natural oasis where neighbors can come together and grow. OCG includes a community vegetable garden, a workshop area, a fruit tree orchard, a pollinator garden, a small flock of chickens, a cut flower garden, and an apiary called Small Street Honey. Throughout the year, OCG hosts youth camps, after school programs, and volunteer events.
