When Heaven Was Silent is a memoir exploring faith, culture, survival, domestic abuse and the journey of finding your voice after seasons of silence. Through the book and the wider work of The Quiet Knowings, Lucy D. Ola creates space for conversations that women may experience privately but do not always feel able to speak about openly.
