Some conversations are difficult, but silence should never be the only option.
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, HER Perspective & 1910 The Business Table invite you to an evening of honest conversation, awareness, resources, empowerment, and community connection.
HER VOICE: Breaking the Silence is designed to create a safe and supportive space where women, survivors, advocates, professionals, military-connected families, and members of our community can come together to listen, learn, connect, and support one another.
This is not about forcing anyone to tell their story. You do not have to be a survivor to attend. This is about creating a community that knows how to recognize the signs, have difficult conversations, connect people with resources, and remind women that they do not have to navigate difficult situations alone.
🎙️ THE CONVERSATION
Throughout the evening, our panel and community conversation will explore topics including recognizing unhealthy and abusive relationships, why leaving isn’t always as simple as it may appear, rebuilding after abuse, supporting someone experiencing domestic violence, available community resources, and the unique challenges that may affect active-duty service members, veterans, military spouses and military families.
We will also create space for anonymous questions, allowing attendees to participate without having to publicly share personal experiences.

Survivors. Supporters. Military spouses. Active-duty service members. Veterans. Advocates. Community leaders. Helping professionals. Friends and family members. And anyone who wants to become better equipped to support the women around them.
Men who want to listen, learn, support and be part of creating safer communities are welcome as well.
