"Her journey may have tested her, but her flame still burns."
Join the Women's Ministry of Brandywine Community Church for an afternoon of light, love, courage, and hope. Her Flame Still Burns is an intimate candle-making experience created to honor breast cancer survivors, stand with the women still fighting, and remember the ones we carry in our hearts.
You will not just attend this event. You will make something with your own hands, hear stories that will stay with you, and leave with a candle that means something.
What you will experience
- Create your own candle. Choose your scent, pour your candle, and name it with a word that speaks to you: Strength, Faith, Courage, Hope, or Victory. It goes home with you.
- Survivor Story Circle. Breast cancer survivors will share their journeys in their own words.
- Light of Honor Ceremony. Together we will light the room in recognition of survivors, women currently in treatment, and loved ones remembered.
- Celebrate together. Enjoy light refreshments, door prizes, a pink photo moment, and the Hope Wall, where you can finish the sentence "Her flame still burns because..."
Every guest receives a gift bag, and a resource table will offer breast health information, screening reminders, and local support services.
What to wear
Wear a touch of pink. Survivors are invited to wear white or their favorite shade of pink so we can celebrate you.

We will be collecting donations and comfort items for Women’s Ministry of BRANDYWINE Community church

Early Bird: $25 through Sunday, October 4
Regular Admission: $35
Breast Cancer Survivors: $20
Advance purchase is required. Tickets will not be sold at the door, and seating is limited because every guest gets a place at the candle-making table. Ticket sales close Friday, October 23 at 11:59 PM or when we sell out.
