About this Event
Learn to work with strobes, continuous lights, modifiers, and light meters to design, measure, and capture professional lighting setups with confidence.
Take complete control of your studio lighting. Designed for photographers ready to demystify studio setups, this hands-on workshop covers the core mechanics of working with strobes and continuous light sources.
You’ll dive into key principles including power management, the inverse square law, lighting ratios, and precise exposure control. Through live demonstrations and guided exercises, you’ll learn how to build complete setups using Godox strobes, Amaran/Litemons continuous lights, softboxes, V-flats, snoots, and reflectors.
What You’ll Learn:
Light Control & Physics: Understand light ratios, power output, and how distance affects falloff (Inverse Square Law).
Metering & Exposure: Use light meters for dead-accurate exposure and grey cards for perfect white balance.
Workflow & Setup: Trigger strobes, shoot tethered for real-time feedback, and shape light using essential studio modifiers.
