About this Event
The Magic of Black and White – 2pm to 3.30pm
Black and white images have been with us since the very earliest days of photography. Today, it still the medium of choice for many of the craft’s most well-known artists. Whatever your current ability level and whether you use a smartphone, a point and shoot, a DSLR, or one of the latest mirrorless cameras, this session is for everyone interested in improving their black and white photography. You will learn or develop existing skills that will enable you to find, make, process, and showcase black and white images that will impress your audience and perhaps deserve a place on your wall.
The Magic of Colour – 4pm to 5.30pm
During this portion, we explore the remarkable world of colour photography. For many years, colour photography was not considered art, but now it is at the core of the mediums most interesting and important work. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced photographer, this workshop is designed to enhance your skills and inspire your artistic vision. We will look at how different colours interact with each other, how different colour palettes affect the impact of your images, how isolating colours can create striking images, and more. This session will help you develop your skills to produce striking and memorable colour photographs.
