About this Event
It's never been easy being a teenager! But todays challenges are very different to those faced by any other generation. As a teacher, and as a mental health coach who specialises in working with teens, I know that so many parents, guardians and carers are doing their very best to support their children, yet often feel unsure about how to help effectively.
In this session, we'll explore:
- Beliefs & Cognition
- Self-Esteem and Self-Efficacy
- Anxiety and Stress
My aim is to offer insight into how teenagers can feel empowered within the world in which they are growing up, and some of the 'ingredients' which make for robust mental health, with some practical tips and tools which may even help you, too!
I am a licensed Thrive Programme® Coach, working both privately and in school settings, and the insights I share will draw on this broader programme.
I’ll also briefly explain how you and your teen can benefit from the Thrive Programme if you’d like to learn more, and point you to some great free resources.
However, please note that this session is designed to be valuable on its own - I’m not running it to tout for business (in fact, I’m currently oversubscribed and operating a waiting list!)
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Otherwise, I hope to see you there!
