About this Event
Celebrate the spooky period between Halloween and Christmas at Keats House, with an evening themed around ghost stories.
The 19th century saw a rise in popularity in the ghost story, making this Regency villa the perfect setting to delve into all things spooky. Join our volunteers to hear chilling poetry, as well as Eliza Jane Chester (a previous resident of Keats House) as she reads ghost stories. There will also be volunteers on hand to talk about some of the more macabre objects in the house, and the chance to decorate your own masks.
The whole house will be open to explore, including our Keats House 100 exhibition, which tells the story of how the house became a museum in 1925, with special displays immersing you in how the house looked when it opened to the public 100 years ago.
Includes a complimentary mocktail!
Recommended for over 16s.
