About this Event
Come hear the music play or be part of the cabaret at Westminster Q+ network's seventh Open miQ+ event!
We're excited to announce Westminster Q+ network's seventh Open miQ+ night, co-hosted with the University of Westminster's Student Union in the Hideaway at Regent Campus!
Once again, the evening will be hosted by celebrated drag king Don One. This is an opportunity to come along and share your creativity, uniqueness, nerve and talent on stage, or just sit back and watch the spectacle if you prefer. You don't have to be LGBTQ+, but it helps if you're an ally!

Doors open at 6pm with a chance to mingle. Music will then kick off from 6:30 onwards. If you would like to perform in any way, you can sign up on the night. If you would like to perform with a backing track then please bring your backing track as an mp3 on a USB stick on the day.
This will be a friendly and inclusive night bringing together the University of Westminster LGBTQ+ community and allies from beyond for an evening of fun entertainment. During the evening we will also be focusing on the themes of the Trans Awareness Week.
Don One is one of the UK’s funniest drag kings! Singer, rapper, actor, host, and stand-up comedian. Last year, they were featured live on Channel 4 as the voiceover artist introducing Joe Lycett on his comedy talk show, Late Night Lycett. They’re also known for their successful run in the 5* West End Show ‘Death Drop’. Instagram @don1drag Twitter/X @don1birmingham
