We're looking for Edmonton residents to share their insights to shape the Climate Resilience Hubs Pilot Project.
About this Event

We are looking for Community League members and residents from all corners of the city to share their insights and feedback that will directly shape the Climate Resilience Hubs Pilot Project- a vital new program dedicated to supporting and protecting our city's most vulnerable community members.

The project is designed to explore the feasibility of equipping Community Leagues with the resources, equipment, processes and training to be able to function as safe spaces during times of extreme weather, power outages, and days with poor air quality. Implementing this program will mitigate health risks for the city’s most vulnerable, including children, the elderly and people with pre-existing health conditions.

We are inviting residents with knowledge of Community Leagues to participate in our focus group session on October 8, 2026, at the North Glenora Community League Hall (13535– 109A Avenue, T5M 3Z4), from 6:30-8:00pm.

Refreshments will be served and childminding services will be available. Please reach out to [email protected] if you have questions. We are looking forward to receiving your input, and seeing you there!

Hybrid option available.
