September 20 - 26, 2026 is National Forest Week with National Tree Day being recognized on Wednesday, September 23.About this Event
The city is celebrating National Tree Day by planting 100 trees!
We are extending an invitation to 50 community members to participate in this planting event taking place at Chinook Winds Regional Park.
We will meet in the upper parking lot by the spray park at 9 a.m. and will make our way to the planting site.
The Parks department will provide shovels, soil and mulch. We ask all volunteers to wear closed-toe footwear and bring their own gloves.
