Help Is on the Way — A Special Film Event at SAIT
FREE ADMISSION · PIZZA & POPCORN · LIMITED SEATING · REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Help Is on the Way isn’t just a story about energy. It’s a story about what energy makes possible.
Join us at SAIT for a special screening of Help Is on the Way, a documentary by award-winning filmmaker Mathew Embry exploring the global crisis of energy poverty, Canada’s role in the energy conversation, and the real-world efforts bringing reliable energy to communities in need.
Filmed across multiple continents — from remote communities in Peru to Canada’s North — the documentary examines how access to abundant, reliable and affordable energy can shape education, health, opportunity and everyday life. It follows individuals and organizations working on practical solutions, including solar installations in off-grid communities, while also exploring the role both renewable and conventional energy can play in addressing energy poverty.
Following the screening, stay for a live Q&A and conversation with people featured in and connected to the film.
