Take charge of your health at A Community Cancer Prevention & Wellness Event on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Palette Northshore in Covington.Join Ochsner experts and community health professionals for an afternoon focused on cancer prevention, wellness and early detection. The event will feature a cooking demonstration, exercises to help prevent lymphedema and discussions on integrative oncology, genetics, high-risk breast cancer prevention and lung cancer.
The St. Tammany Health System Be Well Bus will also be onsite providing 3D screening and mammography throughout the event. Financial assistance is available for individuals without insurance.
