Seal Beach, Calif., (September 15, 2026) — Helen Sanders CatPAWS Helen Sanders CatPAWS will host its fifth annual Le Chic Chat Soiree on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Navy Golf Course Ballroom in Cypress, California. The nonprofit’s premier fundraising gala supports its cat rescue and low-cost spay/neuter programs across the Seal Beach area.
The Soiree is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year; the 2025 event raised more than $115,000 to help save and change the lives of at-risk cats and kittens.
“This event is where our community comes together to celebrate the lives we’ve saved,” said Deborah Felin Magaldi, director of Helen Sanders CatPAWS. “Every ticket and every bid makes the next year of rescue possible.”
This year’s program will feature guest speaker Dr. Kwane Stewart, founder of Project Street Vet and the 2023 CNN Hero of the Year, whose work providing veterinary care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness has drawn national attention.
Event details include:
- Cocktail reception begins at 5 p.m., followed by hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, buffet dinner, games, a mission video and a paddle raise
- Adoptable kittens, interactive entertainment and a program spotlighting the year’s rescues
- Early Bird Single tickets $125; Early Bird Tables of Eight $900 (through October 16)
Proceeds support Helen Sanders CatPAWS’ shelter rescue, foster and adoption network, nationally recognized DIY Kitten Care Program and spay/neuter clinics.
Tickets and sponsorship information are available at Le Chic Chat Soiree 2026.
