This event never fails to dissapoint.. Step into a winter's night of ancient Somerset tradition - a celebration to wake the orchard and welcome a fruitful year ahead.
The evening begins with the traditional blessing of the orchard, a time honoured ceremony filled with song, toast and ritual, as we gather among the apple trees to waken the spirits of the the trees and share the warming wassail.
As darkness falls, enjoy our spectacular fireworks display lighting up the countryside sky, with firepits around us to keep the winter chill at bay.
Wrap up warm, raise a mulled cider and soak up the atmosphere beneath the stars.
From 9pm the night ignites with live music from a Gypsy Folk Rock Band - 3 Daft Monkeys bringing Celtic and Eastern influences, the 3 Daft Monkeys’ dynamic style of world folk music reflects the global village in which we now live. Their infectious dancing rhythms lead you through a musical journey of the senses and emotions and will leave you breathless, enthralled, and exhilarated.
