HeartSaver CPRThe American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
After successful completion of the course, students will receive a course completion card that is valid for 2 years.
Who Should Take This Course?
Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Examples of who should take HeartSaver CPR: good Samaritans, lifeguards, babysitters, businesses and restaurant staff with on-site AEDs.
