Celebrate 135 years of Ukrainian immigration to Canada with the Vancouver Ukrainian Folk Orchestra, one of East Vancouver’s longest-running cultural groups. Based at the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians, the orchestra shares traditional Ukrainian music through a lively mix of traditional and contemporary instruments, conducted by Pavel Rhyzlovsky.
Following the performance, stay for a reception with snacks and refreshments, view instruments up close, and meet the musicians for conversation and questions.
