About this Event
Healthy Me is a fun, interactive program that helps children build confidence, make healthy choices, and develop important social and emotional skills through the power of stories. Each session features a children's book, engaging discussions, and hands-on activities that encourage youth to practice positive behaviors they can use at home, in school, and with friends.
Youth will explore topics such as:
- Building self-confidence
- Making and keeping healthy friendships
- Solving problems and handling challenges
- Making smart, responsible decisions
- Understanding and respecting differences
- Developing healthy habits
- Practicing kindness and mindfulness
- Recognizing positive and negative influences
Healthy Me helps children grow into confident, caring, and resilient individuals while fostering a lifelong love of reading.
