Now show up for your health.Join us on National First Responders Day for Healthy Heroes, Healthy Community—a free community health event designed to help you better understand your health, connect with trusted local providers and discover resources that can support your overall well-being.

This event is open to the entire community, and YMCA membership is not required.
Adults age 18 and older may receive free basic biometric screenings and heart-health assessments provided by North Central Family Medicine, including:
• Cholesterol and glucose screenings
• Blood pressure checks
• Body fat and BMI assessments
• Sleep apnea assessments
Fasting is required for biometric screenings.
But this day is about more than heart health. Community partners will also be available to connect attendees with free information, services and resources addressing mental and emotional wellness, nutrition, fitness, preventive care and many of the other factors that affect our health.
Because the event is being held on National First Responders Day, we will also offer a special opportunity for qualified law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, educators and nurses.
Eligible Frontline Heroes may receive advanced cardiovascular laboratory testing at no cost and may qualify for a scholarship covering a coronary artery calcium scan, home sleep study, and other recommended screenings based on their individual risk assessment.
Whether you serve on the front lines or simply want to take a more proactive role in your health, we hope you’ll join us.
Healthy Heroes, Healthy Community is a collaborative effort of The Heart2Heart Foundation, Carolina Cardiology Associates, YMCA of Upper Palmetto, North Central Family Medicine and NAMI Piedmont Tri-County.
