About this Event
Do you ever say yes when you really want to say no?
Perhaps you worry about disappointing or upsetting people, feel guilty about putting your own needs first, and ultimately find yourself taking on more than you realistically have the time or energy for.
If that sounds familiar, this workshop is for you.
Healthy Boundaries & the Courage to Say No is a practical and supportive workshop where we’ll explore what healthy boundaries can look like and why they can sometimes feel so difficult to put in place.
During our time together, we’ll explore how to recognise when your boundaries may be getting crossed, why saying no can feel so uncomfortable, and the impact this can have on you and those around you.
You’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your own boundaries and consider ideas and practical strategies around:
- What healthy boundaries are and why they matter
- Communicating your needs more clearly
- Saying no with greater courage and less guilt
- Making choices that better reflect your own time, energy and priorities
This isn’t about being told to “just say no” or what you should or shouldn’t do. Instead, we’ll explore some of the thoughts and feelings that can make setting boundaries difficult and consider realistic ways of responding that feel right for you.
The workshop will be relaxed, supportive and practical, with a maximum of 12 women, allowing us to work together in a small-group setting.
Tea, coffee and pastries will be available on arrival, with lunch and a soft drink included.
Come as you are, and leave with greater awareness, new perspectives and practical strategies to consider in your everyday life.
