Healthcare for a Day
Curious about a career in healthcare? Now’s your chance to give it a go!
Australian Paramedical College (APC) invites school students to experience a day of practical, hands-on healthcare activities at our Burleigh Heads campus. Try practical skills, take part in simulated scenarios and discover what healthcare training is really like.
What you will experience.

✅ Explore your interest in healthcare
✅ An introduction to training delivered by APC
✅ Meet our trainers and learn about future study pathways
You'll also have plenty of time to ask questions and speak directly with our trainers and team.

✅Food for the day - We will provide lunch, but please bring snacks!

Who is this for?
The program is ideal for:
- Students interested in paramedicine, emergency healthcare or other health careers.
- High school students in years 9, 10 & 11 who are considering our VET in Schools course starting in 2027.
