Join Death & Donuts and Medicine Horse for a reflective autumn meditation experience exploring release, renewal, and the wisdom of change. Set against the peaceful backdrop of Medicine Horse in Longmont, this gathering invites participants to slow down, connect with the season, and consider what they may be ready to set down as the year begins its transition toward winter.
Through guided meditation, quiet reflection, and meaningful conversation, we'll explore questions such as:
- What am I carrying that no longer serves me?
- What would it feel like to release it?
- How can embracing impermanence help me live more fully in the present?
Inspired by the falling leaves of autumn and the universal cycles of life, loss, and renewal, this workshop offers a compassionate space for contemplation, connection, and personal growth. No meditation experience is necessary. Whether you're navigating a life transition, processing grief, or simply seeking a moment of stillness, you're welcome here.
What to Expect:
- A welcome by Death & Donuts founder, Peri Rigler
- A short tour of Medicine Horse to meet the animal residents, staff and learn about the mission of this wonderful organization
- Guided meditation led by Diana Hulet
- Breathing with horses. A hands-on moment of shared existence.

Please note: this workshop does not involve horseback riding, but does offer a moment of hands-on meditation with a horse resident. Participants always have the option to opt out of any proposed activity.
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes are required. Warm layers are suggested based on weather conditions.
