Healing Family Patterns: A Constellations Workshop in Sheffield
Sunday 22 November · 11:00am–5:30pm · Whirlow Spirituality Centre
Do you feel stuck in a relationship, a pattern or a decision you can’t quite make sense of?
Emergent Constellations is a gentle, exploratory way of seeing what’s really going on. We create a living, 3D map of your situation, with people in the group standing in for family members, places, parts of yourself, or even ancestors. Each element is free to move and respond with autonomy, it's not acting or drama, hidden dynamics come into view. People typically gain fresh clarity, unexpected insights and a sense of something settling.
This approach draws on systemic and family constellation work, and on the Emergent constellations work I've learned with my mentor, neuroscience educator Sarah Peyton.
This day is for you if you:
- feel stuck, or keep meeting the same patterns
- are carrying something from your family or past that you’d like to understand
- are curious about constellations and want to experience them for yourself
Two ways to take part
- Bring your own issue (£150), 3 places only. You’ll have your own constellation, with time and space to explore a question, relationship or difficulty that matters to you.
- Participant (£85). You’ll take part as a representative in other people’s constellations and witness the work. This can be deeply meaningful in itself: seeing someone else’s story unfold can shine a light on your own.
Whichever you choose, the whole group shares in the healing. This is healing in community.
Good to know
- No experience is needed.
- You don’t need to bring family members. Come on your own or with a friend.
- You only share what feels right for you.
Looking after yourself
This work is for personal exploration and isn’t a replacement for therapy or counselling. Constellations can bring up strong feelings or memories, both from your own story and from witnessing others’. If you’re unsure whether a group setting is right for you just now, you might talk it through with your therapist first, or book a private session with me instead.
“Within hours of the session I saw tangible results: unexpected conversations and actions with my dad.”
Bea
“I have been able to come to terms with the way my family operates, which has proven to be a great relief.”
Elena
“I feel very fortunate to leave some of my emotional baggage behind.”
Derek, workshop participant
