About this Event
Healing Conversations: Sharing Our Birthing Stories is a community-centered event created to uplift the voices of women and birthing people of color through storytelling, maternal mental health education, and shared healing. Rooted in Ebony Women Health Corp’s mission to transform how institutions serve women of color, this event provides a culturally responsive, trauma-informed space where participants can safely explore their birthing experiences, connect with compassionate facilitators, and receive mental health tools that support healing and resilience.
Participants will gain:
- A nurturing circle to share and process their birth stories
- Maternal mental health education led by our partner Rotten Lemons
- Guided reflection activities and mindfulness grounding
- Culturally aligned coping strategies and healing tools
- A deeper sense of community, validation, and emotional support
- Resources and ongoing connection through EchoHer
This event is more than a gathering — it’s a healing experience, a restoration of voice, and a powerful step toward collective wellness for our maternal health community.
