Join us at the Town Hall to celebrate the launch of Frome’s Nature Recovery Plan, with a screening of Heal the Land, followed by a Q+A.Heal the Land is a hopeful and inspiring 25-minute documentary about the transformation of a former intensive dairy farm in Somerset into a thriving place for nature and people.
Filmed entirely at the Heal Somerset site during 2024, the film follows the early stages of this rewilding journey, from the return of wildlife to the changes taking place across the land. Featuring fascinating insights from experts and the Heal team, it shows just how quickly nature can recover when given the space to thrive.
With nature under increasing pressure, restoring biodiversity and creating space for wildlife has never been more important.
Following the screening, there will be a short Q+A with panellists to be announced.
Doors at 6:30pm, screening begins at 7pm. A bar will be available on the evening.
This event is supported by Frome Town Council and Frome Wild Bunch, with a suggested £3 donation to Frome Wild Bunch.
