Join us for an engaging workshop designed to build confidence in using quantitative research methods. This session introduces the core principles of statistics, what they can (and can’t) tell us, and how they support better decision-making in research and policy.
You’ll explore how to summarise and interpret data using key measures such as averages and variation, alongside an introduction to inferential methods, including confidence intervals and t-tests.
Through guided examples and practical exercises, you’ll develop an understanding of uncertainty, common pitfalls, and how to avoid misinterpreting results—recognising that “non-significant” does not mean “no effect”
