Mark your calendars for our district’s HBCU Night! Doors open at 5 p.m., with the event being held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Appoquinimink High School. The event contains two parts — first up is the HBCU Night from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. There will be HBCU Reps and Alumni, Black Greek Letter Organizations, and on-the-spot admission decisions from some colleges. The second half of the evening is our College Fair, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Representatives from colleges and universities will be in attendance, along with the Department of Labor, trade schools, military recruiters, and more. Open to all students in grades 8-12, this event will have plenty of post-secondary opportunities for all students. We’ll see you there!
PLEASE NOTE: To be considered for on-the-spot admissions, seniors must apply online to the college at least 48 hours before the event and bring their transcripts (unofficial are acceptable) to the event.
