As the sun begins to set, we'll gather for a meaningful Havdalah service before joining together in an uplifting, interactive drum circle led by Tahja, an internationally acclaimed world music performer, vocalist, and skilled multi instrumentalist. Drawing on the rich musical traditions of Jewish culture, Tahja creates an engaging experience that invites everyone to participate. Together, we'll explore rhythm, make music, and create an unforgettable evening of connection and joy.
This free, family friendly event is open to all, and no musical experience is necessary. Whether you bring a drum or simply come ready to clap, tap, and enjoy the music, you'll be part of the experience.
Plenty of parking, easy beach access, and restroom facilities are available on site. Please bring your favorite snacks, preferred beverages, beach chairs, and any drums or percussion instruments you'd like to play. If you do not have an instrument, come anyway. Your presence is all that is needed.
Registration is requested so we can keep you informed of any weather-related updates. If inclement weather prevents us from gathering on the beach, the program will be held at Temple Sinai.
