I really want to show how far I've come to fulfill my dreams as a little black girl. Who always had her favorite doll in one hand and a sketchbook in the other. She was always creating no matter what her surroundings looked like. Art was and still is my escape to be myself, be raw and express what I'm feeling; it's my outlet ! At the age of 10 years old I was able to showcase and sell my artwork at community based art events. She was so shy and scared but she did it, even through fear and being uncomfortable.
Being the first gen in my family to pursue a higher education in the arts. Even though it was so scary, I'm so grateful for my support system! I've had a lot of challenges. Even through these challenges I keep looking forward no matter what ! I’m going to continue to press forward for that little girl who knows she was put on this earth to become something big !
