About this Event
Join us on Martin Luther King Jr. Day for a special opportunity to explore West Philadelphia Achievement Charter Elementary School (WPACES), a tuition-free public charter school where every child is known, supported, and celebrated.
During this in-person event, families will tour our campus, meet members of our school community, and learn more about WPACES’ academic programs for students in Grades K–5. Guided by Dr. King’s legacy of leadership, service, and community, WPACES is committed to helping students grow into confident learners and caring citizens.
At WPACES, students experience:
- Strong academics aligned to Pennsylvania state standards
- Innovative learning through robotics, STEM projects, arts, and technology
- A safe, supportive environment rooted in our “5 Bes” (be kind, respectful, responsible, helpful, and safe)
- Whole-child development through clubs, performing arts, leadership opportunities, and community partnerships
- A true partnership with families, where parents are welcomed and engaged in their child’s success
This session is open to families from Philadelphia and surrounding counties who are interested in learning more about enrollment and what makes WPACES a community that cares.
