When night falls over the canyon, the trail whispers secrets of the past... Do you dare to listen?
Back by popular demand, our come-to-life "wax museum" history hike returns for its 3rd year! Step into the dark to encounter living figures from Eldorado's colorful past (and present...). Listen closely to their haunting tales, decipher their clues, and piece together the deep history and hidden mysteries locked within these historic canyon walls.
Whether you're a returning detective or a first-time night explorer, this family-friendly evening promises fresh stories, local lore, and a whole new way to experience the canyon after dark.

What to Know Before You Go:
- Who: Perfect for curious explorers of all ages! (Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.)
- Where: Located in our ADA-accessible picnic area. Minimal lighting will be provided along the path.
- Gear Up: Wear sturdy shoes, dress in warm layers, and bring your own headlamps and flashlights to help guide your way!
- Spooky, Not Scary: Enjoy a moonlit stroll filled with rich storytelling and autumn mystery, with zero jump scares!
NOTE: There will be an optional hayride that will shuttle folks from parking near the entrance up to the Visitor Center.
