🎃 Haunted Bluffs Halloween Night 👻Pony Express Trail Runners

Haunted Bluffs is BACK! 👻🎃
After having such a great turnout and so much fun last year, Pony Express Trail Runners is bringing back our Halloween night at the River Bluff Trails!
This year we’re keeping it simple, family-friendly, and festive with a little something for everyone.
🔦 WHAT’S HAPPENING?
👻 Kids Flashlight Hunt
Kids will grab their flashlights and head out on a fun 1-mile(ish) Halloween hunt through the trails. We’ll have volunteers dressed up as kid-friendly monsters and characters along the route to add some spooky fun.
📖 Halloween Storytelling
We’ll have some fun Halloween stories and hopefully a little history and local legend surrounding the trails—including the story of Felix’s Grave.
🌕 Adult Night Trail Run
After the kids’ activities, we’ll head out for a nighttime trail run through the bluffs. There may or may not be some spooky surprises waiting along the way. 😈
🔥 Hot Dogs & S’mores
We’ll have a simple campfire-style gathering with hot dogs, chips, s’mores, and drinks. BYOB is welcome for adults.
🔦 BRING YOUR OWN HEADLAMP!
If you’re participating in the nighttime activities, please bring a headlamp or flashlight. The trails will be dark!
⚠️ IMPORTANT
This is NOT an official race or organized race event. This is a free, informal community training opportunity and Halloween gathering.
Everyone participates at their own risk. Please use good judgment, stay aware of your surroundings, and come prepared for nighttime trail conditions.

Bring the kids. Bring your friends. Wear a costume. Bring a flashlight. Come run, walk, eat some hot dogs, listen to some spooky stories, and enjoy a night in the woods. 👻🔥🦇
