Haughty Hat Cake ClassBig hat. Big bow. BIG cake energy. This show stopping witch’s hat may begin with a petite 6-inch cake, but once everything comes together, you’ll have an approximately 18-inch-tall creation displayed on a 14-inch board—comparable in stature to an actual witch’s hat!
This is a hands-on sculpted cake class packed with techniques that go far beyond traditional cake decorating. Students will learn how to carve, construct, cover, embellish, and assemble this dramatic witch’s hat from start to finish.
The finished cake will feature a black fondant-covered witch’s hat, an oversized fluffy satin-look bow, whimsical ribbons, edible lace, colorful accents, and all of the fun little details that make this design so wonderfully over-the-top.

Finished Cake Size
Don't let the 6-inch cake base fool you—this one has some serious presence!
The completed witch’s hat will sit on a 14-inch cake board and stand approximately 18 inches tall, giving you a finished piece comparable in size to an actual witch’s hat.
