Hatha Yoga with Live Music

Led by Vienna, you'll explore a rejuvenating series of classical Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breath control), Yogic Chanting, fifteen minutes of Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and Meditation.

Live musical accompaniment provided by Jesse Gallagher on the grand piano, with selections from his meditation album "The Inner Sound."

The Integral Yoga method was designed to draw the practitioner into a physical and mental stillness that leads to an experience of one’s true nature— peace and joy.

You can expect to feel peaceful and rejuvenated after class, leaving with more energy than you arrived with. In Sanskrit, "Ha" translates to Sun and "Tha" to Moon, emphasizing the focus of creating balanced and harmonious energy inside and out. This Equanimity is the true experience of Yoga.

This class is appropriate for all levels of Yogis, students are always encouraged to go at their own pace. Bring your own blanket if you like, and dress comfortably.

Parashakti-Vienna is a 200-hr Integral Yoga Instructor. She studied in 2022 at Satchidananda Ashram-Yogaville, in Virginia, and lived in the same Yoga community for 3 years thereafter, teaching Hatha to guests and community members. She now lives in the Cambridge area, hoping to share the classical Integral Yoga techniques that made powerful, positive impacts in her life.

Sadhu-Jesse Gallagher is an Integral Yoga teacher and life-long musician. He traveled & performed extensively as a founding member of the band Apollo Sunshine from 2001-2010, and since has released several albums under his own name (The Inner Sound 2020, Visual Music Vol. #1 & #2). He has practiced meditation & yoga since 2000. In 2016, he was certified to teach Integral Yoga Hatha at Satchidananda Ashram, and in 2024, Jesse was certified to teach Mindfulness Meditation from Dharma Moon Tibet House.
