Hataałii is a Navajo artist whose multifaceted creative practice spans visual art, music, and poetry. This special program showcases his visual artwork and his original music, offering an immersive look into a distinctive, emerging, artistic voice. In addition to his painting exhibition, Singe the Head, on display in Conway Hall’s Gallery 128 Hataałii presents a live solo guitar and voice performance featuring selections from his growing catalog of original songs, which weave together personal stories of life, identity, and community.
