Fall fun is coming to the farm! 🎃Join Butterfield Acres for Harvest Pumpkin Fest, happening weekends in October 2026.
Stroll through the farmyard, visit your favourite animals, take autumn photos, enjoy tractor-pulled wagon rides through Scarecrow Alley, warm up by the fire pits, and soak up the fall farm fun close to Calgary.
This year, there is also a special option for the littles in your life: Pumpkin Hunts for Pint-Sized Pumpkin Pickers! Morning ticket holders will have the option for little ones to hunt for their very own kid-sized pumpkin.
Festival fun includes:
🐐 Visits with favourite farm animals
📸 Fall photo opportunities throughout the farm
🚜 Tractor-pulled wagon rides through Scarecrow Alley
🔥 Toasty fire pits
🎃 Pumpkins available to purchase and take home
🐴 Pony rides for children under 60 lb / 27 kg
🍂 Seasonal treats, warm drinks, smokies, and s’mores available
Harvest Pumpkin Fest is a ticketed event with 2-hour visit windows. Tickets are required, and popular dates and times can sell out, so be sure to book early.
This is a must-do fall family tradition for pumpkins, animals, fresh air, and farmyard memories.
Please note:
When visiting the farm, please make sure the adult-to-child ratio is at least 1 adult for every 3 children, and that all guests are familiar with Butterfield Acres’ Farm Safety Rules. Handwashing stations are available throughout the farm. Please wash your hands after visiting animal pens and activities.
