Join Outdoor Chattanooga for a guided and equipped Full Moon Kayak Tour around the islands and sloughs of Chickamauga Lake as we look for the full moon rise in the evening sky. Guides will lead you on a leisurely paced and peaceful paddle to watch the colorful skyline as the sun sets and the full moon in the sky. Approximately 2 hours on the water. No experience is necessary as we design most programs to be beginner friendly with easy to use appropriate equipment. Prior to departure, you’ll receive basic paddling instruction, water safety information and be properly outfitted in a lifejacket and kayak and stern light.Cost is $35 per person which includes guides on the water and all the kayaking equipment (kayak, paddle, PFD, and lights). This evening kayak tour is appropriate for ages 14+ when accompanied by an adult. We utilize 14′ recreational kayaks for this tour, which are sit-in-style kayaks that have a maximum weight limit of 275 lbs. We recommend you do not exceed this weight limit for your personal comfort and safety, but contact us if you have any questions.
