Hello Neighbors and Friends,I’m excited to announce that we’re having a house concert!
When we lived in Evanston (Chicago) we hosted occasional concerts and performance parties in our home and yard with traveling musician-friends who were looking for an intimate version of their tour. It was fun; I miss it.
This will be a first taste of whether we (all) like the experience here. How fitting that our guest performer is a dear friend from our days in Chicagoland, Meg Anderson!
Meg and I met dancing and have danced, sung and even performed together, she has adapted songs to perform with children’s dance events I created. Meg is a beautiful, talented, performer and person and we’re really glad to support her journey as a traveling performer. Please join us!
About Meg:
With voice and dance as her primary instruments and influences spanning from Björk to Lauryn Hill to cathedral choirs, Meg Anderson creates cathartic, soulful electro-pop, layering beats, harmonies and soaring melodies with her looping pedal, and sometimes with the voices of her friends.
This music is her medicine, and she dreams of offering it widely, one living room at a time.

September 26 (harvest moon!)
6:00pm — Doors Open
7pm — Doors Close —please plan to arrive with plenty of time to chat, get a snack, find the right seat so we can co-create a container for this experience.
7:00–8:00pm — Concert
There is no ticket price for this event; this will be a donation-based concert. Please come prepared to bring a donation to the artist at the conclusion of the show via cash, Zelle or Venmo.
BYO whatever delights you. Refreshments and chair or floor seating (and dance space!) will be available.
