About this Event
The Harvest Gold Promenade brings dancing and socializing to young Catholics from near and far.
Break a sweat with LA style Salsa On-1, then slow down to move with intention to the spanish guitars of the Argentine Tango. We’ll also feature music for the latin Hustle and slow Waltz. You’ll learn the steps (instruction is part of the fun), get to know like-minded singles, and enjoy a special night on the town.
Details
- Come dance salsa and tango. Even if you’re an absolute beginner, by evening’s end your hands and feet will have developed minds of their own
- Learn to lead a lady with confidence, or to follow a gentleman with grace
- There’ll be snacks, seltzers, and further refreshments to enjoy
- On your own? Play the socialite – dance with strangers and meet new people in an environment where everyone is on the same page
- Dress code is semi-formal; you can help us out by not wearing jeans
- Gentlemen, smooth-soled shoes are essential, and straight-cut pants allow for comfortable movement
- Ladies, be sure your skirt or dress doesn’t drag along the floor. (Ankle-length works fine)
