Join us on October 31st to celebrate all the farmers and producers and the abundant harvest of the year. Some of our vendors will be handing out candy to market visitors, so be sure to come dressed in your Halloween costume and join in on the festivities!
Don't have a costume but want to get into the Halloween spirit? No worries! We will have face painting on our back patio during Harvest Fest!
COMMUNITY GARDEN:
Martini, the three-legged goat, will be wandering around the garden! The Youth Volunteer Corps will also be on-site selling mums with all proceeds going to YVC.
Visitors of all ages can get creative with jack-o'-lantern pot painting in the garden!
LIVE MUSIC:
Dr. G and the Tall Man will liven the market with sounds from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on the cafe stage.
Next up is David Loving Music from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on the cafe stage.
The Empire Market is a four-season city market that combines farm fresh goodness, hand-crafted products, community gardens and local gourmet food, all in one location that is easily accessible to the Joplin community. Customers can shop for their weekly groceries, find unique gifts, enjoy live music and a meal, all within the market’s laid back atmosphere. Open 10am-2pm, every Saturday.
