Nau mai, haere mai. We warmly invite you to join us in harvesting kai for the Creating Space kaupapa. This is our second & last harvest for the event. Creating Space is a kaupapa of sharing kai and space together with a lens of self-sustainability and zero waste. All food and offerings are freely given.
The Creating Space event will be held at Te Ao Hou Marae on Saturday 7th March, 10am-2.30pm.
As part of this kaupapa, we are sharing some of our abundance from the māra kai and orchards. We invite you to join us in the enriching experience of harvesting food together as community, just as our ancestors did.
What to bring: weather appropriate gear, water bottle, hat, your mates, your whānau, keen energy, clothes you don’t mind getting a bit soily and sturdy footwear.
Also, BYO bag, there will be some kai for you to take home too.
