We are thrilled to announce that on Saturday 5th December, the first Hartpury Goodwill event will take place between 3 and 8pm at Hartpury Village Hall. This event is being run by the community, for the community, aiming to bring everyone together in the spirit of Christmas.Your favourite craft and produce stalls from the Hartpury Market will be there, along with live music and local choirs, Santa in his igloo, local street food, a bar and pop-up cafe. A reindeer trail and lantern parade will provide additional festive cheer.
Putting goodwill at the heart of the event, we are requesting unwrapped, new gifts in exchange for a visit to Santa and dried food goods in exchange for a reindeer trail map and the opportunity to win the prize draw for the correct answers to the anagram collected along the way. These donations will be provided to local charities to make the lives of others a little easier.
There will be the opportunity to make lanterns to carry as part of the parade at the Hartpury Craft and Produce Markets 10-12pm on the first Saturday of both October and November.
We already have a number of local groups involved but are seeking others to join us to raise funds for your own endeavours or chosen charities.
If you are a local business, we will be reaching out for sponsors and raffles prizes to help make the event even more special.
