Madison, Tenn. (September 30, 2026) – Music City Roots at Harken Hall is set for Wednesday, October 28, featuring Laid Back Country Picker, Garrett Boys, Bronwyn and Rodeo Mouth.
These artists bring incredible musicianship and storytelling for an unforgettable evening celebrating country, folk, bluegrass, and Americana music.
Laid Back Country Picker and Honey are the Hillbilly Power Duo. Picking up where the White Stripes left off, they deliver a blistering show, equal parts 70’s guitar rock, honky tonk and country punk. They have toured internationally, opening for Deep Purple and playing festivals and clubs across the U.S.
Garrett Boys are a family trio from Overton County in east Tennessee. Their history lends itself to incredible Appalachian folk music. Made up of brothers Stephen and Russell Garrett, and Stephen’s son Carter, Garrett Boys are rooted, both musically and physically, in 500 hilly, wooded acres that have been part of their family for generations.
Bronwyn is an American bluegrass musician, solo artist and member of the bluegrass band Mile Twelve. Born of an Irish father and Southern U.S. mother, she attended Berklee College of Music in Boston before moving to Nashville.
Dubbed “Acid Americana,” Rodeo Mouth is an eclectic alt-country rock ‘n roll band based in Nashville, consisting of songwriter Paul Howard, Emmett Rozelle, Petey Piscitelli and Dany Turcios. What started as Howard writing off-color folk songs evolved into wrangling old friends to join in the fun and bring the songs to life.
Music City Roots celebrates great musicians, amazing acoustics, and the thrill of live performances. The format includes performances and interviews with each artist. Legendary artist Jim Lauderdale will serve as host, Keith Bilbrey will return as announcer and Ranger Doug Green of Riders in the Sky will interview each artist.
Born as a live radio show and a nationally recognized television series, Music City Roots has a long-standing partnership with WMOT 89.5 FM in the Murfreesboro-Nashville area.
The showcase is set for Wednesday, October 28, and doors open at 6:00 p.m. for the 7:00 p.m. concert. Tickets start at $25 and are now on sale at https://www.harkenhall.com/. Harken Hall is located at 514 Madison Station Blvd., Madison, TN 37115, just 11 minutes from downtown Nashville.
