A message from the band:
We are continuing RUNA’s Rockin’ Sock Collection as we embark on our Winter Holiday Tour this year! We collect socks for organizations that support individuals and families with housing and financial insecurities. Socks are still the #1 requested donation item by shelters because they must be brand new.
We invite you to bring along a pair of brand new socks with you to our show! Any size, any color, women's, men's, or kiddos. The more the merrier! Because warm feet = happy hearts. Thank you for helping us make a big impact with a small gesture!
Because of the immense generosity of our RUNAtics over the past five years, we have collected and donated over 10,000 pairs of socks!
RUNA consists of vocalist and step-dancer, Shannon Lambert-Ryan of Philadelphia; GRAMMY-award nominated, Dublin-born guitarist; Fionan de Barra; Cheryl Prashker of Canada on percussion; Jake James of New York on the fiddle; Tom Fitzgerald of Canada on fiddle, mandolin, and vocals.
Celebrating 17 years together as a band, Celtic-American Roots music group, RUNA, continues to push the boundaries of Irish folk music into the Americana and roots music formats.
