On the sacred banks of Maa Ganga in the devbhoomi of Haridwar, true devotion transcends ritual—it manifests in selfless on-ground action. Anchored in the core Sanatan principles of Nar Sewa Hi Narayan Sewa and Jeev Daya, Dashrath Putra Foundation (DPF) is mobilizing an intensive 12-hour, dusk-to-dawn winter relief operation.
As the Himalayan foothills bring harsh overnight temperature drops, hundreds of destitute pilgrims, tapasvi sadhus, elderly devotees sleeping along open ghats, and vulnerable street animals endure severe exposure. Our dedicated volunteer squads will patrol throughout the freezing night to deliver immediate warmth, nourishing hot meals, and essential first aid directly where relief is needed most.
🔱 Four Pillars of Ground Service
- 🕉️ Nar Sewa (Vastra & Kambal Daan): Direct distribution of heavy-duty, high-grade thermal blankets and warm clothes to elderly pilgrims, sadhus, and open-air pavement dwellers during peak cold hours (12:00 AM – 5:00 AM).
- 🐄 Gau & Pashu Sewa (Jeev Daya Abhiyan): Deploying insulated straw bedding at common resting spots, fitting community street dogs with weather-resistant reflective coats, and providing hot, energy-rich night meals for local Gau Mata and stray packs.
- 🩺 Swasthya & Prathmik Upchar: Equipping mobile volunteer teams with rapid first-aid supplies for blistered or ailing walking pilgrims, alongside spot veterinary wound cleaning and antiseptic dressing for injured street animals.
- 🍵 Annapoorna & Chhabeel Sewa: Continuous rounds of fresh hot herbal kadha, tea, and warm meals for night-shift sanitation workers, roadside workers, and weary travelers along the main pilgrimage routes.

Step onto the sacred ghats of Haridwar and serve from the frontlines. Experience the profound fulfillment of protecting lives and upholding Dharma through direct action.
- Operational Note: To ensure disciplined crowd management and targeted deployment across the ghats, exact assembly points and route maps will be shared directly with confirmed registered volunteers.
2. Become a Sewa Backer (Financial Contribution - Dhan)
If distance or professional duties keep you from being physically present, you can power the ground mission remotely. Contribute "As per your Shraddha" (according to your faith and capacity). 100% of your contribution is directed toward heavy thermal blankets, medical kits, reflective animal coats, and hot meal preparation.
