Join The Medicine Way for a sacred evening outdoors as we gather in community, connect with Mother Earth, and sit intentionally with Hapé—a traditional master plant medicine teacher carried by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon.
Hapé (pronounced hah-PAY) is a sacred, finely ground tobacco ash traditionally prepared and shared in ceremony. When approached with intention and reverence, Hapé can support grounding, presence, mental stillness, and a deeper connection to the body, breath, and spirit.
We will begin by creating sacred space, grounding into the land, connecting with the breath, and setting personal intentions. Each participant will be served individually, followed by spacious time for quiet reflection and integration. Breath, prayer, rattling, drumming, and moments of silence may be woven throughout our time together.
🌬️ What to Expect & How to Prepare
Please arrive well hydrated and refrain from eating for approximately 2–3 hours before ceremony. Bring a yoga mat, blanket, or something comfortable to sit or lie upon as we connect with Mother Earth. You may also want to bring water, layers for the evening, a journal, and a small sacred or meaningful item.
Come with an intention, prayer, or simply a willingness to listen. There is no expectation for what your experience needs to look like.
🌙 Rest & Integration
Ceremony continues beyond our time together. We encourage you to keep the remainder of your evening spacious for rest and integration. Hydrate, nourish your body, journal, spend quiet time in nature, and allow whatever arose during ceremony to settle gently.
Integration is how we carry the teachings of ceremony back into our everyday lives—with awareness, intention, and gratitude.
